How is AquaTraction Superior to the Competition?
Made with our proprietary closed-cell cross-linked synthetic resin, Aqua Traction is best described as the carbon fiber of the marine flooring industry. We use cross-linked polyethylene (PE) based foam as opposed to the industrial ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) standard that is used by many in the boat floor replacement industry.
Aquatraction’s PE Based Foam is more stable and lasts longer than EVA at higher temperatures, in the harshest conditions. Its extremely small, uniform cells create an ultra-fine finish. PE foam is water-resistant, insulates efficiently, absorbs impact and withstands wear and tear. Aqua Traction weighs 26% less than the competition but is more durable. PE foam outperforms EVA every time.
